Well, that was fun! I have to say that as much as I wanted to hoard that bed and breakfast certificate all to myself, it was a lot more fun hearing from all of you! After decorating 8 and 1/2 dozen cookies yesterday, I’m ready to put my heart shaped cookie cutter away! Thank you all for your orders and participation; each of you helped make our Valentine’s Day a success!
So what’s next, you ask? Let me tell you! Starting first thing tomorrow morning, I’m going to be busy in the kitchen making an organic cherry pie. “Nourish,” an organic food store on Wealthy Street, has asked me to participate in a cherry pie event in honor of George Washington’s birthday next week Wednesday.
As cherry pie has always been my personal fav, I think I might have been more than a little annoyed with George had he chopped down my cherry tree — how about you?! Anyway, be thinking about the event planned for next Wednesday at Nourish; I’ll give you all the details as they fall into place.
In the meantime, I want to give away a cherry pie and a half pint of handmade vanilla bean ice cream next week Wednesday. If you think that your family might be up for pie and ice cream: “Like” Maisy’s Pie Company on facebook (don’t worry if you already have, you’re finished with that part!), share this post on facebook, and let me know if you would like to celebrate George’s birthday with pie!
I’d love to celebrate George’s birthday with pie and ice cream! YUM…
Sounds wonderful and that’s neat that you’re working on organic pie!
